Dear Butch Walker,
My name is Erin and I am a long time fan of your music. On Wednesday, May 12th, I had sent you a tweet on twitter that could’ve been better phrased. What I had said made me come off as some asshole who hates your music, while I’m really just the opposite of that.
I’m really sorry if I offended you, I did not mean to do that. I am just a fan who is a little disgruntled about the direction you have taken your music in the last couple of years. What I had meant to say is that while your new music is not bad, it’s just not what I expected from someone who brought us “TOO MUCH ROCK FOR ONE HAND” 10+ years ago.
All that I am really asking of you is to that you throw us long time fans who have been there with you since before you became a solo artist a bone once in awhile, that’s all! You would make us all very happy if you did!
Also, the band Kill Hannah had nothing to do with this what-so-ever. I just happen to run a fan site for that band and I had tweeted my message to you from the twitter account that I associate with/use for that website, when I should’ve tweeted from my personal twitter account. So please don’t hold anything against them as they had nothing to do with this.
